About the project
The German automotive parts supplier and technology giant, Continental, is establishing its new smart factory in the Southern Industrial Park of Debrecen. We contributed to this greenfield investment by delivering the general construction of the 20,000-square-meter production facility, along with the associated warehouses and office building.
The construction of the manufacturing hall was completed by the end of 2019, with mass production of electronic components scheduled to commence in the third quarter of 2020. The development of the smart factory required customized design and advanced technologies. To meet the project’s challenges, the facility was built in accordance with LEED Gold certification standards, and each phase of the construction adhered strictly to LEED guidelines.
